Scam Alert: if you're on Facebook and get something about Gravity t-shirts for sale, it's a scam! We only have our t-shirts and other merchandise for sale at Gravity BrewWorks tasting room. Besides, they're charging way more than we ever have!
Two New Festivals...and An "Old" One!
There are two new festivals in Arkansas coming up in May. The first is Riverbrew Rendezvous and International Food Festival, which will be held on Saturday, May 4 at Point Remove Brewing Company in Morrilton, AR. Several breweries - including Gravity - will be there to help celebrate this fest, which runs from 11 am to 3 pm. It's being held outdoors, and we'll be joined by several international food vendors. Tickets are available at https://shorturl.at/bvzFG, and you can get more info at https://www.facebook.com/events/701478515491934.
The second new festival is Fayetteville Strawberry Festival, which the city of Fayetteville is introducing. This inaugural festival will be held on the historic Fayetteville square. The date is Sunday, May 19th, from 12-6 pm. Check out Downtown Fayetteville Arkansas for more deets.
Lastly, the city of Fayetteville will host Falltoberfest on Sunday, September 29, from 12-6 pm. Last year's Falltoberfest proved to be a tremendous success, drawing in thousands of attendees along Dickson Street, and we'll have to wait to see if that's still the place. More info as we get it.

Pint Day Glassware
The Arkansas Brewers Guild is a not-for-profit organization that promotes breweries across the Natural State. We raise funds for the Guild through sales of Pint Day glassware and other things, including beer! This year our Pint Day glasses celebrate the eclipse with a full-color wraparound artwork on a Shaker-style glass! These are in limited quantities, and we have some for sale. So get them at Gravity while you can!
One Spectacular Show!
A large portion of Arkansas was in the path of totality for the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th. In north central Arkansas, we had nearly clear skies and four minutes of totality. Gravity was open especially for this event and it did not disappoint! Our patrons enjoyed great weather and great beer, played games, and saw a most awesome sight shortly before 2 pm. We all cheered and raised a toast. Thank you to everyone who came out to Gravity for the special event!

New "Leash Law" at Gravity
After some irresponsible dog owners, some comments, and much discussion, we have decided to have a "leash law" at gravity. So beginning on Thursday, November 9, all pets at Gravity must be on a leash, indoors and outdoors, with the pet owner holding the other end of the leash. Apologies to the well-behaved dogs that we've seen over the years.
Next Time You're at Gravity...
Check out the new beer garden! If you've been out there before, you know by now that we've made a few changes - the old cedar stump and the bamboo hop trellis are both gone; the hops were moved to the fence line; the electric line has been buried. All of the patio rocks have been taken up and replaced with a smooth concrete "dance floor". The crew made piers for the new posts for the tasting room expansion, put up cedar and oak posts and beams, as well as the front wall, the roof, and the west wall. Now we just need to figure out the north wall...
Support your local breweries!
Here in Arkansas, the Arkansas Brewers Guild represents the state's breweries through legislation, events, fundraisers, and media. Because of COVID-19, our Guild couldn't hold the usual tap takeovers, Oktoberfest, festivals, etc. But with the most severe part (we hope) of COVID behind us, breweries are beginning to host festivals and tap takeovers again. We need your help in fundraising to keep Arkansas beer-friendly. Keep a lookout for these events - we'll try and get them on here and FB - and please help out the Arkansas Brewers Guild by attending these events if you can!

More Changes at Gravity
We've made a lot of changes at Gravity. We've done a little expanding inside, and built an expansion which is mostly all enclosed to ultimately make a bigger tasting room. We also made an addition to the brew house, and we got the garage door moved to the outside of the new space. We moved all the grain to the new grain room and made the old grain room the barrel-aging room. We also made a dock for truck deliveries. We recently added a bottling machine and a canning machine (that's it in the photo, though it's hard to see!) to our gadgetry, as well as a larger grain mill. Next up - a new compressor! Progress!
Gravity Beers and Whiskey Barrels
After the success of our darker beers aged in local Rock Town Distillery bourbon barrels, we've been "rolling out the barrels" with various brews. We've put several of our brown beers in barrels, including Kilt Me Softly Scottish Ale and Oat of Sight Oat of Mind Scottish Ale. We like them for their size, quality, and "localness". When the barrels are used once, we plan to age other beers in them, including our Flandemonium Flanders Red Ale, as well as some sour and fruit-based brews. Look for more of these barrel aged beers to come on tap.
Hop Drop Series
The Hop Drop brews are a planned series of single-hopped beers. Each beer is an IPA, brewed with less caramel in the west coast style. We use only a single hop or proprietary hop blend in all the hop additions. This really allows you to experience all the bittering, flavor, and aromatic qualities of that particular hop. When you visit the tasting room, try the beer and give us your feedback!
So far we've tried Zythos, then Falconers Flight, both hop blends. Next came Ahtanum, then 5256, an experimental hop. Then we used 7 C's blend, Calypso, Sorachi Ace, Bravo, Mosaic, Simcoe, El Dorado, Summit, Citra, experimental 07270, Denali, Ekuanot, Azacca, Comet, Sabro, Motueka, and Polaris, a German high alpha aroma hop.

Gravity is on Facebook
At long last, we have a Facebook page...to all those folks that asked for it. Of course, we kept it simple - look us up at http://www.facebook.com/gravitybrewworks. Note that our name has no spaces; there's another site but it's not our page. So be sure you're on the right page!
Gravity is on Untappd!
We've got a page on Untappd, the social beer site. You can go online and tell everyone about our beers...or anyone else's, for that matter. Look us up at untappd.com, and say something good about us!
